"Really happy with the battery life"
I’ve used my mevo for a few streams now, and I’m happy with the battery life. It holds up better than I expected for normal use, which is a nice surprise. It does drain a little quicker during longer sessions, so I do wish it lasted just a bit longer, but overall it’s been solid and reliable.

It was a little buggy at first, not gonna lie, but the firmware updates seem to have fixed most of the annoying stuff. One of the installs took longer than I expected, which was kind of frustrating, but anyway, it’s been working a lot better since then. Overall, happy with it now.
"Just didn’t feel like a fit for my setup"
I got this to use with my laptop, but right away I had a feeling it wasn’t going to play nicely with my older Android. Sure enough, the app wouldn’t run properly, so it ended up being useless for what I needed.

"The Wi-Fi kept dropping on me during setup..."
The Wi-Fi kept dropping on me during setup and even while streaming. Sometimes it would work fine for a bit, but it was never steady enough to actually rely on. I reached out to support and felt like they were putting the blame on me or my setup instead of helping figure it out. Frustrating overall.

"Focus can be hit or miss"
To be fair, it does work okay sometimes, but I’ve had a frustrating amount of trouble with it constantly hunting for focus. Videos end up blurry more often than I expected, which makes it hard to rely on.
"Broke Way Too Soon"
I bought this hoping it would hold up, but it feels cheap. My brother even mentioned it seemed flimsy when he saw it, and sure enough, it broke much sooner than I expected. Disappointing overall.

I really wanted this to work out, but it just didn’t do much for me. I gave it a fair try and kept hoping it would get better or maybe I was missing something, but in the end it was disappointing. It didn’t perform the way I expected, and I wouldn’t say I had a great experience with it

"I ordered from mevo.com thinking it would…"
I ordered from Mevo thinking it would arrive in a reasonable amount of time, but it ended up taking a lot longer than I expected. The tracking barely updated, so I kept checking it and, i wasn’t really getting any useful info. I mean, I don’t mind waiting a few extra days, but this felt kind of frustrating. If shipping is going to be slow, I feel like they should maybe be more upfront about it before you place the order. Not the best first experience for me.

"Return went smoothly overall"
I had to return something I ordered from mevo.com, and from my experience, the process was straightforward. The return instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to get the shipping label without any hassle. The only thing I noticed was that the refund took a few days longer than I thought it would, so I reached out to support. They did respond and confirmed what was going on, and the refund came through fine in the end. It wasn’t a totally perfect experience, but based on how it all worked out, I’d say the return process was still good overall.

"Good idea, but not as reliable as it should be"
I picked up Mevo mostly for the multi-camera setup, it’s been kind of a mixed bag. When everything actually connects and stays connected, it works well, but I’ve had cameras randomly drop out or take way too long to sync. Switching between angles can be a little clunky too, which is frustrating when that’s basically the main reason I bought it. For the price, I guess I just assumed the basics would be more dialed in. The support info I found was also surface-level, so it kind of feels like they know people are running into these issues but haven’t made it easy to sort them out.

"Sound cuts out occasionally"
Well... it works fine most of the time, but the sound does cut out every now and then, which can be a bit annoying...

"Expected a bit more for the price"
I thought I’d get better results from Mevo, the recordings looked a little soft and grainy even when the lighting was decent. The audio was fine, but the video just didn’t have that clean, sharp look I was hoping for. It’s not totally unusable or anything, I just expected it to look a lot better at this price.

"I’ve been a loyal customer for…"
I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, so I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this support experience was frustrating. I reached out for help, the replies took longer than expected, and in the end I still had to figure most of it out on my own. I still like the brand overall, but this definitely made me rethink how much I can rely on their support.

"No surprise fees, from what I remember"
I don’t remember every little detail, but I do remember the pricing feeling fair. Nothing weird showed up at the end, and there weren’t any extra fees that made me second-guess it.

"Good in daylight, a mess in low light"
This camera is fine when the room is bright, but the second the lighting drops, it turns into a grainy little disaster. The colors get muddy and the video quality falls apart way faster than I expected, especially for what it costs. I ended up having to add extra lights just to make it look decent, which is annoying and not always practical. If you’re using it in daylight, it’ll do the job, but for darker rooms, this thing is kind of a dud

"Pretty frustrating to use"
I tried using the site and it felt kinda messy. Stuff that should’ve been easy to find took me way longer than it should have, and a few parts were just confusing for no real reason. Maybe other people have better luck with it, but for me it was a hassle and I ended up giving up quick. Not very user freindly.

"Software keeps acting weird"
I don’t know, the software just hasn’t felt very stable for me. The app freezes randomly, some settings don’t always save, and I’ve had to restart it more times than I’d like. It’s just frustrating, especially when you’re not trying to do anything complicated… you just want it to work like normal.

I was happy with how stable the stream was. No major buffering or random drops, which is always a relief, right?? Overall, it worked well for me.

"Pretty frustrating to use"
The app keeps lagging, which gets really annoying fast. The menus are confusing too, and it took me way too long to figure out simple things that should’ve been easy.

"Not really worth it for me"
I went into Mevo expecting a bit more, especially for what it costs. Maybe I was expecting too much, I don’t know, but the whole thing just felt average to me.
The service wasn’t bad or anything, so I keep wondering if I’m being too harsh, but for the price I feel like there are better options out there. I probably wouldn’t use it again unless it got a lot cheaper...
